Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain web-based applications using Laravel.
  • Work closely with end-users to understand system requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Optimize existing codebases and enhance performance and scalability.
  • Administer and maintain Ubuntu Linux servers that host systems.
  • Manage version control using Git and deploy updates using CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure application security, data integrity, and system reliability.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for live systems.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience with Laravel (minimum 2 years preferred).
  • Strong understanding of PHP, MySQL, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with Ubuntu/Linux server administration (LAMP stack, Nginx or Apache, Cron jobs, system updates, security patches).
  • Experience working with Git, GitHub/GitLab, and deployment workflows.
  • Knowledge of system architecture and database design.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
